Why we LOVE Cast Members at Disney

This past weekend we were at WDW - I was devastated to learn Sunday am of the death of a Cast Member (CM) in one of the monorails. It really affected me. Watching this video and email from a visitor kinda sums it up why the whole Disney community is in mourning- the CMs are amazing and make the magic at Disney.

The Quick WDW Trip

We won! (my husband)

What? (me)

We won!  We got the tickets! (my husband)

That is how the evening of last Monday started out.

What did we win?  Tickets to see the NASCAR race in Daytona over the 4th of July weekend - in a sweet suite.

You should have seen my husband scramble to make hotel arrangements  - he was so excited - and so was I - we were going to Disney World - again!

We had just returned the night before from Texas where we spent a week with my family.  The drive home was brutal and when did it all in one day!  yes - thats right - one day.  As my friend Lynne said - you have to get up and start driving by 4am if you want to get home at a decent hour!!

While I wasn't really happy about getting in the car again on Thursday evening - I was excited for WDW!

I did something I never do - I waited to pack until 30 minutes before we would leave.   - we packed the lightest we have ever packed!  It was awesome!!

We arrived at our hotel (non-Disney) at 1am.

.... I am tired... time for sleep... I will finish this rant tomorrow.
